Arsenal player shows off his Apple Watch

The much anticipated Apple Watch will go on sale today, Friday, April 24 but Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil had his hands on it a day before.

The German paid a visit to an Apple store on Thursday, April 23 when he was given the time piece.

Prices for the Apple Watch range from N89, 000 to N4m.

The 26-year-old midfielder took to his Instagram to share a photo of him wearing the watch and compared the timepiece to former TV character Michael Knight from the hit action show Knight Rider.

"Excited about my new cool gadget! It's just like Michael Knight's watch, but a real one #knightrider #phone," Ozil tweeted.

The midfielder is enjoying his best season for Arsenal who are second on the table.

They welcome Chelsea to the undefined.
