Star's doctor's corpse hijacked in Maryland

Michael Jackson's longtime physician and dear friend, Dr. Arnold Klein is reportedly lying ice cold at the coroner's office in Maryland after being dead for almost a week.

Arnie Klein died on October 22 in Palm Spring after suffering from Multiple Sclerosis  but ever since he's been at the morgue, no family member has come forward to claim his corpse.

According to sources who spoke with TMZ, the late doctor doesn't have any close relative able to claim his body because amongst his two living brothers, one is mentally challenged and the other is so bankrupt he can't afford a plane ticket to Palm Spring where Klein's remains lie. This is kind of sad!

Klein also has an aunt who is, as one source put it, "out of it" ... and doesn't understand what's happening around her.

If no family members retrieve the body, the county would have to approve a friend to do it.
