Brazil legend leaves hospital after prostate surgery

Brazil football legend Pelehas returned him  from hospital after undergoing prostate surgery.

The 74-year-old, was on the evening of Saturday, May 9 released from Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paolo.

Pele was pictured with his wife Marcia Cibele shortly before he has release.

He was recuperating after a transurethral resection of the prostate, a procedure that involves the removal of an internal part of the prostate gland.

Pele had been treated for benign prostatic hyperplasia, or enlargement of the prostate, and tests undertaken after surgery indicated that no tumours were found.
