2015 BET organizers fires back at Fuse ODG?

Organizers of the 2015 BET Awards have taken a swipe at  British musician of Ghanaian descent, Fuse ODG for accusing them of giving awards to the winners of International Act: Africa  category back stage.

The organizers in retort, shared a picture of a nominee receiving an awards and commented, "This was not backstage. It was on the BET Awards stage @itsmiclare".

Apparently @itsmiclare replied to Fuse ODG comment which explained why he ditched the BET Awards though he was a nominee.

He tweeted, ""Sweethearts we luv u and thank u but please change your ways. Most people anticipate receiving their awards but u present the awards backstage or weird places. We want new faces if u r promoting other artistes around the world, show them to us...it’s the viewers that have voted not u.Just saying.".

Could FUSE ODG's initial comment have triggered BET organizers to respond and can anyone verify whether what they are saying is true?
