After informing Liverpool of his undefined, Raheem Sterling was booed and jeered by supporters at the club's annual awards.

Sterling according to reports told manager, Brendan Rodgers he will love to leave the club in the summer after rejecting a contract extension offer worth £100,000-a-week.

The 20-year-old won Liverpool's Young Player of the Year award and was not heavily applauded as he made his way to the stage to pick up his award.

Fans started booing him during his acceptance speech, while others shouted 'sign that contract' and 'please stay Raheem'.

"I'd like to say a big thank you to all my team-mates," the forward managed to say.
