Ibn Chambas visit’s Bawumia in London

The Vice-President is currently on medical leave in the United Kingdom (UK) after reportedly falling ill.

The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General’s Special Representative to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Dr Mohammed Ibn Chambas, has visited Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in London.

A photo on social media shows the two smiling for the camera.

This photo has caused many on social media to call for peace among political opponents.

They argue that if Dr Ibn Chambas who is a member of the NDC can put his political affiliations aside and visit the NPP’s Dr Bawumia then it must be a lesson for all.

Earlier a video circulating on Social Media showed Bawumia and his wife taking a stroll on the streets of London.

Dr Bawumia travelled to the UK on January 19, in the company of his wife, Samira Bawumia.
