3 cups of all-purpose flour

1 1 /2 teaspoons salt

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon white pepper

1 teaspoon grated nutmeg

½ cup butter

2 garlic cloves minced

2 cup grated onion

1 large egg

½ cup milk

2 tablespoon sugar optional

Oil for frying

    • Method

    Wash your hands and hand mix the dry ingredients; flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, nutmeg and white pepper

    Add the butter to the flour and mix well until even.

    Add minced garlic, onions, milk, and egg into the mixture and mix until it forms a sticky dough.

    Knead the dough on a floured surface and cut chin-chin into desired sizes and shapes.

    Heat enough oil in a wok or deep fryer and fry until golden brown.

    Remove from oil, drain, and serve.
