The Chelsea player made the trip from Spain with Malaga [where Atsu is playing on loan] teammate and Nigerian international Ikechukwu Uche as he shared a photo on his Instagram page.

Atsu captioned the photo:

Christian Atsu made a substitute appearance in the Spanish La Liga on Saturday for Malaga who won by a goal before making his trip to Ghana.

The Black Stars of Ghana will play a two leg tie against Mozambique as part of the qualifying games for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
