The former Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder in his fourth Premier League game for Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium scored his side’s second goal and his debut after his powerful right-foot drive took a wicked deflection on Bechem United’s Akwasi Acheampong.

Essuman in an interview with Pulse.com.gh after the game expressed his delight in scoring his debut goal.

“I’m very happy to score my first Premier League goal for Hearts of Oak. It is a dream come true and I  must congratulate my team mates for a good job done in picking the three points.

“The goal will motivate me in our subsequent games. I’m not being complacent, I’m focused and I think my best is yet to come,” Essuman said.
