Richard Akrofi savors partnership with Robin Gnagne

Akrofi who joined the Phobians on a three-year deal at the start of the domestic top-flight championship has formed a good partnership with the club’s captain Gnagne.

The former Premier League champions are not only scoring goals in the ongoing campaign but they have defended well as they have kept two cleans sheets in two games.

"Robin is a very experienced defender and I also have experience. So we talk together at the back and share ideas during the game in order to defend our goal," Akrofi told the club’s website."Our first job on the field of play is to defend our goal because we are defenders -- and in such a way that we do not concede a goal,” he added.

Akrofi spent five seasons at Wa Allstars before Hearts of Oak.
