After Techiman City failed to maintain their Premiership status, a lot of local clubs which include Hearts of Oak, Aduana Stars and Ashanti Gold have all expressed their interest in the 19 year-old middleman.

But the Kumasi based giants have moved in swiftly to acquire the services of the youngster.

“We are almost done with Baba Mahama, we have agreed terms so it is likely he will be joining us any moment from now,” interim Kotoko manager Michael Osei told Asempa FM.

Asante Kotoko have already signed Heart of Lions duo Prince Quansah and Isaac Acquah and Coney Idan from Medeama.
