Gordon Ramsay Gives Lil Nas X a Cooking Lesson

It's becoming pretty obvious that Lil Nas X is better at Twitter than all of us, with his hilarious replies to fans and totally unbothered responses to homophobic trolls following his World Pride Day announcement. One of the rapper's tweets which went relatively unnoticed at first amid all of the recent furore was a throwaway message to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, and it just turned into the greatest collaboration of the year.

Following his triumphant set at the Glastonbury festival, Lil Nas X quote-tweeted a post by Ramsay asking him to teach him how to make the perfect panini while he was still in the United Kingdom - a reference to the track "Panini" on his new EP, 7.

Ramsay, never one to shy away from a challenge (or attention), immediately replied to the rapper, offering up his services as a teacher:

The chef and rapper met up in Ramsay's kitchen yesterday, and Lil Nas X documented the moment on Twitter, including a photo in which he's wielding an ax (the implement he used to slice his toasted sandwich).

No word yet on the recipe they used - maybe that's a secret for Ramsay and Lil Nas X to share just between the two of them. Lil Nas X soon went back to living his best life on Twitter, including bigging up Korean boyband BTS, and poking gentle fun at himself when a fan pointed out that he always strikes the same pose in photos.
