Sia Once Asked Diplo if He’d Be Down for No-Strings Sex

Sia once texted her friend and musical colleague Diplo to gauge his interest in having casual sex.

In a GQ profile on Diplo, Sia revealed, "Much of our relationship is just being spent trying not to have sex so that we wouldn't ruin our business relationship, because he's super-duper hot."

She continued, "This year I wrote him a text, and I said, 'Hey, listen, you're like one of five people that I'm sexually attracted to, and now that I've decided to be single for the rest of my life and I just adopted a son, I don't have time for a relationship. If you're interested in some no-strings sex, then hit me up.'"

Sia has been collaborating with Diplo for over a decade. The two have numerous hits together like the Sia's 2013 song, "Elastic Heart," where Diplo was featured. In 2018, Diplo and Sia, along with rapper Labrinth, created a supergroup called LSD. Their first album, Labrinth, Sia & Diplo Present... LSD, dropped in April 2019.

Sia's relationship with Diplo is undoubtedly special. It seems as if she knows a different side to the DJ that the rest of the world isn't privy to.

"He doesn't think that he's good enough at anything. He has crazy low self-esteem," she said. "It's so interesting, because he's one of the most talented and attractive people in the world. But he doesn't know it."

Still no word on whether Diplo ever took Sia up on her offer. Considering they're continuing to have a blossoming musical and business relationship together, the two might never have entangled sexually. Or who knows? Maybe they're just really good at being friends with benefits .
