Days after a London man was relentlessly bullied online for his weight, Pharrell has joined the ranks of several celebrities showing him public support.

The man, who has since introduced himself on Twitter as "Sean from London," was initially shamed on the popular online message-board 4chan in February after a user posted an image of him dancing. "Spotted this specimen trying to dance the other week," the 4chan user wrote. "He stopped when he saw us laughing."

After picking up steam on Reddit and other websites the image and attached bodyshaming went viral thanks to a response campaign from a Los Angeles based writer named Cassandra Banks. Along with a group called The Free Thought Project, Banks announced a crowd-funding page to throw Sean a dedicated dance party and has since counted support from the likes Moby, Ellie Goulding, and Pharrell.

The GoFundMe campaign has nearly doubled its goal of raising $20,000 as of this morning (March 10) and the support is still pouring in.

All proceeds from the #dancingman campaign will be donated to an anti-bullying campaign.
