President Akufo-Addo appoints Ministers for 6 new regions

President Akufo-Addo has appointed Ministers and deputies for the six newly created regions, as part of his latest reshuffle.

The President has for the second time reshuffled some of the ministers and nominated others for new roles in his government.

This was announced by the Speaker of Parliament, Prof Aaron Mike Oquaye, to parliament on Thursday, 28 February 2019.

To this end, regional ministers and deputies have also been appointed to the six newly-created regions.

Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson has been nominated as Minister for the Bono region, while Kofi Amoakohene has also been assigned as Minister for the Bono East region.

Kwasi Owusu Yeboah and Salifu Adam Braimah have also been nominated as Ministers for the Oti and Savannah regions, respectively.
