David Accam wants to play for Hearts of Oak

The Chicago Fire attacker says he would love to play for the Phobians before hanging up his boots.

Ghana and Chicago Fire attacker David Accam has reiterated his desire to play for Hearts of Oak before finally hanging his boots.

The 27-year-old is a huge fan of the 18-time Ghana Premier League champions and has revealed his intentions of one day lining up for the club.

According to him, it will be a huge privilege to play for Hearts of Oak, adding that he would love to attach his name to the club’s already rich history.

“I’m a verystrong Hearts of Oakfan. It’s the club I have supported since childhood. Hearts is a greatcluband a bigclubwith lots of historyand sure I would love tobepart of thehistory of Hearts of Oak,” Accam is quoted as saying in an interview with SportsObama.com.”I would not hesitate to play for the club and help write more history with them. I would love an opportunitytoplayfortheclub.”

Accam started his career with the Right To Dream Academy in 2004, before moving abroad to continue with his development.

The winger currently plies his trade with Major League Soccer (MLS) side Chicago Fire, having joined the club from Swedish side Helsingborg.
