Ibrahim Sannie Daara was speaking in response to the assertion made by former Hearts of Oak player Mohhammed Polo who felt that there were too many ex-players with expertise in the Black Stars and that the other national teams needed personnel with similar expertise.

Ibrahim Sannie Daara was speaking at the Movenpick Hotel at the CAF Awards Nominees Ceremony.

“We are supporting the legends in many ways as the Ghana Black Stars has the whole team filled with ex-players."

“The other national teams have had former footballers in the past and present like Selas Tetteh and Didi Dramani” but it does not mean you should be given a job just because you are former footballer.

“If you are done with your career,go through your courses, practice your trade and get the results. There will be no qualms when you are appointed.

On the other hand when you finish your career and sit at home with no attempt to skew your career angle, It will be difficult for anybody to appoint you as a national team coach.”
