According to Kojo Adu Asare, Ghanaians are really facing serious economic hardships and need people to rule the country.

He said Bawumia needs to grow up and must see himself as the second gentleman of the land.

He said "Bawumia should grow up as Vice President…he should start growing up as a Vice President because he [Bawumia] is another joke for this country…he should stop joking, he should know that he is no longer contesting the elections."

Bawumia at NPP delegates confab

Addressing delegates at the 25th Annual National Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the University of Cape Coast, Bawumia said they were elected to fix the economic challenges of the country and, so far, the Government had delivered by putting the right polices in place, which had put the economy on the right footing.

He said the period of reckless borrowing was over and would ensure responsible borrowing to ensure prosperity for all Ghanaians.

He said the NPP had competent men and women that could deliver on its promises.

He mentioned Senior Minister Mr Yaw Osafo Maafo, Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Minister of Finance Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, among others who had the expertise and competencies to turn the fortunes of the country to ensure prosperity for all.

He said: "Our mission is to strengthen the economy and build a Ghana that works".
