Adu Asare said Bawumia needs to grow up and must see himself as the second gentleman of the land
According to Kojo Adu Asare, Ghanaians are really facing serious economic hardships and need people to rule the country.
He said Bawumia needs to grow up and must see himself as the second gentleman of the land.
He said "Bawumia should grow up as Vice President…he should start growing up as a Vice President because he [Bawumia] is another joke for this country…he should stop joking, he should know that he is no longer contesting the elections."
Kojo Adu Asare who doubles as the former Member of Parliament for Adentan constituency reacting to Dr Bawumia’s mockery of the Economic Management Team (EMT) under the erstwhile administration said the vice President must take governance serious.
Bawumia at NPP delegates confab
Addressing delegates at the 25th Annual National Delegates Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at the University of Cape Coast, Bawumia said they were elected to fix the economic challenges of the country and, so far, the Government had delivered by putting the right polices in place, which had put the economy on the right footing.
He said the period of reckless borrowing was over and would ensure responsible borrowing to ensure prosperity for all Ghanaians.
He said the NPP had competent men and women that could deliver on its promises.
He mentioned Senior Minister Mr Yaw Osafo Maafo, Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Minister of Finance Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, among others who had the expertise and competencies to turn the fortunes of the country to ensure prosperity for all.
He said: "Our mission is to strengthen the economy and build a Ghana that works".

But Adu Asare in reaction to the vice President’s comments about the Mahama government said Bawumia should step out and listen to the "views of Ghanaians and stop joking about because Ghanaians are struggling, if gets the chance, he should show seriously because as it now, he doesn’t look like someone who can take over as a President."
