9yrs of acting didn't get me attention from Ghanaians until I started fooling – Rosemond Brown

Discussing how she managed to get the attention of Ghanaians, Rosemond Brown said she acted for nine years but was never acknowledged until she started doing 'stupid things'.

The Kumawood actress has been one of the most controversial personalities in the industry, having in entangled in one controversy after the other.

Discussing how she managed to get the attention of Ghanaians, Rosemond said she acted for nine years but was never acknowledged.

According to her, she started getting the needed attention when she started “doing the stupid things that I am doing now”.

“After school, I decided to go to Accra and make a living so I ventured into acting of movies,” she is quoted as saying in an interview with Cheers FM.

“I was featured in a lot of movies but I didn’t become popular until I started doing the stupid things that I am doing now. I do a lot of stupid things to make people laugh out their worries.”

She added that being inquisitive and poking her nose into people’s businesses has helped uplift her career.

The actress cited her half-naked videos and her numerous beefs with other celebrities as the trick which helped her get the attention of Ghanaians.

“I started taking half-naked videos, talked about Efia Odo and Fela Makafui issue, Moesha’s case, John Dumelo and other issues pushed me to the limelight. Nowadays, people invite me to a lot of programs. I have won two awards,” she stated.

Explaining some of the stupid things she does, the actress said: “I make videos dancing and shaking my butt. I also jump and speak on other people’s matters.”
