The video, shared on her Instagram page on August 20, shows the women in various stages of undress, shake their derrières.

“Nickiminaj Video tmrw at 12 noon EST- Who's ready? #RakeItUp,” she wrote.

According to multiple media reports, the release of the teaser video could be due to “censorship issues.”

And in a series of tweets, she appeared to confirm it.

Meanwhile she has been retweeting tweets of her fans urging her to release the video.

On Instagram, the video has generated over 6 million views.
