Caitlyn Jenner headed to Idaho this week, to see her mom, Esther at her home after the 89-year-old suffered a scary injury.
"Visiting my mom and she's doing great after breaking both her hips," the former Olympian wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of the duo. "She's been mobile - she's tough."
Esther has been openly supportive of her daughter's transition from male to female, admitting that she struggled with the news in the beginning. "But then I thought, 'You know what? I’m gaining [a daughter],’" she explained on the docuseries, I Am Cait.
It's clear that the pair have grown close ever since Caitlyn separated from ex-wife Kris Jenner in 2013, whom Esther was never fond of.

"She's domineering — it's do it her way, or there's no way," Ester told the Daily Mail of the 59-year-old momager. "I had very little to do with Kris. I stayed away from her as much as I could."
