Some Ghanaians actors led by by actress Adjoa Pee,  Rachael of 'Bongo Bar' series fame, Emmanuella and Eugenia of 'Living with Trisha' series visited him at his residence in Accra on Sunday, February 19, 2017.

Emmanuel Armah is known for roles in ‘Fresh Trouble’, ‘Things Men Do’, ‘Beyond Love’, 'Shadows from the Past’ and other movies to his credit.

The veteran actor has been ill for weeks. He was admitted at 37 Military Hospital and later released. He is currently receiving herbal treatment at a facility in Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana.
