However, Shatta Wale said he has nothing against persons who decide to join the Freemason society or any other society for that matter.

He was, however, quick to add that he cannot confirm whether or not his boss is a member of a Freemason group.

“He is my boss I don’t know maybe I have to ask him but if he is [a Freemason], that is a very prosperous one because I like the guy,” Shatta Wale said on the Showbiz A-Z show on Joy FM.

The ‘Ayoo’ hit maker further debunked rumours that he himself is a member of a Freemason group.

According to him, he looks up to God, adding that Shatta Movement is the only Freemason he knows.

“People think we are Freemason…we want to even change it to like free carpenters. People see us and they feel that this guy is dealing with occult…but you see…anybody that does not believe in God is in a sh*thole,” he stressed.
