The American singer-songwriter cum record producer revealed her plans to sell the product that will be made from her used underwear in her new online store, in a cover story with 10 Magazine published Wednesday.

Four-time Grammy-award winner, Erica Abi Wright, popularly known as Erykah Badu, is set to launch a perfume product that will smell like her private part.

The 48-year-old said the product which will come as incense will be named “Badu’s P,” emphasizing that the item will smell as advertised in its name. Detailing the reason behind this unconventional product, she said “There’s an urban legend that my p— changes men,” adding that “the men that I fall in love with, and fall in love with me, change jobs and lives”.

Talking about the process of making the fragrance which has got people talking, Badu said “I took lots of pairs of my panties, cut them up into little pieces and burned them,” and continued that “even the ash is part of it”.

The singer today took to social media to announce the date the product will be out. She shared a screenshot of the Badu P story shared on a website and she wrote “Because the people deserve it. BADU PU$$Y only at @baduworldmarket 2/20/2020 www.baduworldmarket.com Hahahaha! @rollingstone won’t cover my music but they gone let these streets know about my Vagina tho".
