The Hollywood actor in a video he has shared online said that “this morning I got some results back for coronavirus and it came back positive and it sucks”. According to Idris, he decided to get the test run on him because he came in contact with someone he later found out had the virus too.

Idris Elba has been infected with the Covid-19 disease and he has announced it on social media to spread awareness about the pandemic.

“I wasn’t having any symptoms, I got tested because I realized I was exposed to someone who also tested positive, I found out last Friday that they were tested positive, I quarantined myself and got tested immediately, ” he said.

The actor has, however, assured his fans that he is doing well and advised that people must be careful about the pandemic because others have it but aren’t showing symptoms, therefore, might be spreading it unknowingly.
