Leave Nana Appiah Mensah alone - Ras Kuuku tells BoG, PMMC

Ras Kuuku is infuriated by the never-ending Menzgold saga.

The gold dealership company has come under attack for the past few days over its activities which top government institutions claim is not in accordance with the law.

On Tuesday, August 7, the Bank of Ghana issued another stern warning to the clients of Menzgold Ghana Limited because the company has not been licensed to operate in the soliciting and receipt of cash from clients.

Following the Bank of Ghana caution was Precious Minerals Marketing Corporation (PMMC) who also claimed Menzgold has no mandate to buy and sell gold because it revoked the company’s license in 2015.

This has caused a stir on talk shows and social media, with the majority calling out Bank of Ghana and PMMC for not doing due diligence when licensing the company.

The latest celebrity to add his voice to the ongoing debate is the Sabaman Entertainment record label signee.

According to the “WO” hitmaker, the CEO of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, should be given a breathing space to be able to focus on his many ventures.

Ras Kuuku questioned the ‘system which doesn’t allow non-political figures to make money’ in a tweet on Friday, August 10.

“Can't we make money when we are not politicians?” Ras Kuuku quizzed, adding that Zylofon Media should encourage NAM1 to focus because the [Ghanaian] youth is behind him.
