Ghana's striker, Asamoah Gyan, is the highest paid African footballer after signing with Shanghai SIPG.
The captain of the Ghana Black stars, Asamoah Gyan will earn £227 000 per week.
The 29-year-old signed a two-year contract in presence of his elder brother, Baffour Gyan, his manager, Samuel Anim Addo, and Shanghai SIPG general manager, Mr. Chan, who represented the club.
