Movie actors and actress pledged their total support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan for his support to the growth of the entertainment industry in the country.

They made the pledge in Asaba, Delta State capital, southern Nigeria during the presidential rally of President Goodluck Jonathan.

The present administration they said has supported them morally and financially through which upcoming entertainers got both local and international recognition.

A Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwor, while acknowledging what President Jonathan has done for the industry said, with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the ruling party in Nigeria, the industry was sure of  better  days.

"PDP is  the  Party,  if  you  know  what  has  happened  in Nollywood  in  recent  times,  it  is  the  power  of  PDP that  has  supported  us.  Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Sambo are the only people that have supported us. They have sent us for training, they have given us money to make movies, and they have blessed us. The blessing we have today is courtesy of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's government.

"If you don't want us to die, vote PDP. If you want to watch more movies and listen to more music, vote PDP," Patience Ozokwor said.

The Presidential rally arena was filled with supporters and famous celebrities in Nigeria.
