According to sources, Sarkodie has refused $250,000 to sign for Tigo, whilst Stonebwoy and Wiyaala have also refused to sign an ambassadorial deal with Glo. The reason is only one, they deserve better than the said amounts.
Of late, most Ghanaian stars have begun to reject offers from telecommunication companies in Ghana due to the conditions attached to their contracts.
According to Wiyaala and Stonbwoy's managements, a number of conditions set in the contract were unfavourable to their artistes hence their decision to turn it down.
Such conditions included the inability of the much sought after artistes to perform at events organized by competing brands such as MTN, Tigo and others.
