Shatta Wale has announced his new year resolution and it centres around Ghanaian bloggers.

The Ghanaian dancehall act who is still walking free after seemingly admitting to a rape crime has pledged to fight Ghanaian bloggers this year.

According to Shatta Wale who was remanded for ten days in Ankaful prison last year after he was arrested and charged for publication of false news, Ghanaian "bloggers are spreading false info in the country," and he wants to teach them a lesson.

He communicated this via Facebook post amidst the controversy that has stirred with his fight with Burna Boy. "This year alone I want to make sure one blogger goes to prison and learn what is being a professional," he said.

His reason is that "whilst Nigerian bloggers deh praise their own in this current situation, Ghanaian bloggers are spreading false info in the country".

He continued that "this is what I told one Great police officer that if they don’t check these things there won’t be any disciplines in the country … I fought for false prophecies And I will again fight bloggers this year Watch me !!! Shatta wale !!!".

Shatta Wale started a worthy fight for Ghanaian acts to be equally respected and promoted in Nigeria just like how Ghanaian media, show promoters and fans support Nigerian music in Ghana.

However, the controversial dancehall act shoot himself in the leg after he seemingly admitted to a rape crime that has attracted backlash targeted at him.

Whilst attacking Burna Boy over their back and forth in the past few days, the Ghanaian dancehall appeared to have admitted to raping someone. "Because he is a rapist, he is jealous I did the same to his girl. Cuz that's his job. Raping jealousy @burnaboy," he tweeted.

Meanwhile, according to Shatta Wale, his Tweet doesn't mean he raped anyone. A few minutes after his post went viral, he shared another tweet to say that "you can’t stop my shine ….I will never rape a girl if you don’t understand my English …Get the fuck..Pussy".

However, Shatta Wale's explanation and denial have not been accepted by many who are still bashing him with others calling for his arrest or brands to cancel deals with him if he doesn't retract the comment.
