DaMi releases ‘In The Night’ ahead of impending EP

Nigerian musician DaMi has teamed up with Malawian songstress Thandi Marie on a new single titled "In The Night". This latest track, which was produced by London-based Ian Holmes, was released on March 31, 2023, and promises to delight music lovers.

DaMi, who originally hails from Osun State but grew up in Ibadan and Lagos, started making music during high school as a hobby. However, in 2020 he took the leap of faith to become a recording artist, and he hasn't looked back since. As an independent artist, DaMi is committed to creating quality content that his listeners can connect with on a personal level.

The upcoming debut EP by DaMi, which he is working on collaboratively with Ian Holmes, will feature "In The Night" as one of its tracks. The song emerged from a freestyle session between DaMi and Thandi Marie, where they explored different melodies and lyrics that capture the vibes of the night.

"In The Night" promises to be authentic, relatable, and enjoyable, drawing inspiration from artists such as Omah Lay, Santan Dave, and Sarz. Speaking to Unorthodox Reviews, DaMi shared, "The song felt too good to leave in the drafts, and we wanted to share it with our listeners."
