Ghanaian record label, Zylofon Music has said it is reviewing contracts of all its signees.
The label has signed 6 top artistes; Stonebwoy, Obibini, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Becca and Shatta Wale, and aside from that has set up an art club to groom up and coming artistes.
Shatta Wale is their latest signee. The label reached an agreement with the self-acclaimed ‘Dancehall King’ 4 months ago but it is already putting plans in place to review their signees contracts.
This decision comes following the signing of its leading artiste Stonebwoy to Universal Music Group.
Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, the Communication Director for Zylofon Music, confirmed that the label is currently reviewing contracts of artistes, actors and actresses on their record label.

According to him, the label is currently undergoing self-assessment and review of contracts all the signees like every serious business entity does.
Arnold stated that he could not tell whether contracts of talents signed onto the label will be reduced or increased after the process, adding that the contracts are legal binding documents and therefore they need time to go through them in order not to hurt the reputation of talents signed onto the label.
He continued that although the review process is far advanced, there has never been a point in their discussion where issues with regards to houses and cars given to talents have popped up and therefore he could not tell if they will be taken should the label party ways with some of the talents.
