A viral video circulating online shows two angry women ranting as they dumped the corpse in the office of one of Old Mutual’s branches in South Africa.

A family who had been subjected to unbearable frustration in attempts to get a funeral claim from an Insurance company to bury their deceased relative got fed up and stormed the company’s offices with the dead body.

A twitter user identified as ConfessionWhite shared the video on the social media platform and it has since gone viral with people expressing their disgust at the Insurance company.
"[EXPOSE OLD MUTUAL] Family bring their dead family member after @OldMutualSA refused to pay their policy benefit. Old Mutual’s arrogance is stinking now. What a shame! May the soul of the poor person Rest In Peace. Plz Retweet," ConfessionWhite captioned the video.
As the backlash heightened and some customers shared their bitter experiences with Old Mutual, the company then came out to respond, saying it had processed the claim and the matter has been resolved.

"Good evening, this has been most unsettling and we are sympathetic towards the family during this difficult time. We can confirm that the claim was paid. Due to the sensitive nature of this matter, we will continue engaging directly with the family," Old Mutual said in a statement.

Meanwhile, some customers of the insurance company have taken advantage of the development to voice out their frustrations.
Twitter user HBMZulu said: "I am traumatised by this. Must have taken a lot for this family to do this with their dead."
Another one identified as VisionNative said: "@OldMutualSA never pay black people’s claims. I have been screening at the top of my lungs for the past weeks of a policy they refuse to pay. This is a 33-year-old policy."

"The way they made my mother run around when she for her retirement annuity though...WORST," claimed another user.
Therazor5 hinted: "I will cancel my retirement annuity with you @OldMutualSA, you are disrespecting our people."
