Family and friends of 35-year-old Reverence and 61-year-old Joseph Efoma-Oruerio had gathered at the anniversary venue at Warri but hardly were they expecting to see the bride in the style she appeared in.

The Reverence entered the venue in a life-size balloon bought from Dubai for $500 and most attendees were virtually drooling.

For her, 10 years of a successful marriage is no joke, so even if it meant spending all their life savings to celebrate the feat, it is worth it.

“The idea came from watching my kids playing in the pool with a balloon. I started thinking of how a bride could make an entrance into her wedding in a balloon. I searched online for life-size balloons and eventually bought one from Dubai for $500,” Reverence said.

Although it was just a wedding anniversary, it felt more like a fresh wedding and the bride was full of smiles.
