Man arrested for assaulting Muslim woman and killing her babies
In some parts of the world, Islamophobia is a thing and Muslims are scared for their lives.
Religious and racially motivated hate crimes is a horrendous part of the society we all wish didn’t exist. But now and then, incidences such as these remind us of ignorant people who have no tolerance for diversity.
A 37-year-old man is facing charges for assaulting an expectant mum resulting in her losing her unborn twins. David Gallacher assaulted and kicked the un-named Somalian woman in her stomach as she walked past his store to the mosque.
He also assaulted a man who tried to intervene. This caused the woman to miscarry and lose her unborn children. She is also very traumatized and her husband has to quit his job to nurse her back to health.
