Man rejects breakfast because his wife refused to kneel down

The debate about whether women must kneel down when serving food to their husbands as a sign of respect has resurfaced.

This time around, it was a Nigeria man resorted to Facebook to ignite the debate by revealing that he had rejected a breakfast because his wife disrespected him, by not kneeling down while placing the food on the table.

The aggrieved man identified as Badmus explained that his wife’s conduct was so disrespectful that he could not have pretended to be okay and eat the food.

He added that he preferred to starve himself to eating the food irrespective of how sumptuous and aromatic it was.

"My wife brought this for breakfast and I rejected it because she did not kneel down when placing it before me," Badmus said posted on Facebook.

Surprisingly, some men supported him by saying preparing the food alone is not enough; it is important for a woman to persuade her husband to eat it for her.

In certain parts of Africa, women kneeling down before either talking to their husbands or serving food to them is a real deal breaker.

Meanwhile, Badmus shared the kind of food he claimed to have rejected, and it must have cost him a lot of energy to refuse to eat that food.
