Robber runs out of breath as woman immobilises him with bare hand (Video)

The days when women were easy targets for robbers who take advantage of their vulnerability are gradually becoming a history. Some of them are getting stronger and stronger as the world evolves.

This was demonstrated by a 22-year-old woman in a video which shows her immobilising a male robber with her bare hands, making him scream for breath.

News24 reported that Sabrina Leite saw two men on a motorbike approaching her. One of them got off and demanded her to give him her phone.

The news websites said the young woman who was apparently close to her home at the time of the attempted robbery threw the phone into the home and frightened the robber.

Having realised that the robber was not armed, Leite said her neighbour stopped him with his car as he tried to escape.

"Then I ran and immobilised him with a sleeper hold, I lay on the ground and put him in an arm lock,” she added.

The brave woman who claimed to have been practising jiu-jitsu for the past four years made use of her skills to arm lock the robber so firmly that, he could not help but scream as he was apparently running out of breath.

A video of the incident was filmed by some onlookers which was later posted online.
