Several Lagos University students hospitalised after collapsing in an overcrowded exam hall (video)

Reports by some Nigerian news media say many students of the Lagos State University were hospitalised on Monday after they collapsed at the Computer Based Test (CBT) centre where they had converged to write the GNS exam.

A video circulating online shows many of the LASU students lying on the ground after suffocating in the exam hall reported to be overcrowded.

According to Gistreel.com, some of the collapsed students were rushed to a nearby clinic on bikes while fellow students at the scene attempted to resuscitate the others.

It is unclear if the incident was caused by the said overcrowding or there was an underlying factor.
