How to prepare plain pancakes

Ingredients

  • Self raising flour/ all purpose flour
  • Fresh milk
  • Sugar
  • Nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh Egg

Method

  • Pour the flour into a bowl
  • Add sugar, salt, sprinkle nutmeg and mix.
  • Crack egg into a bowl and add.
  • Add milk and stir until all ingredients mix thoroughly.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.
  • Scoop a ladle full of the mixture into the pan.
  • Turn the pancake when it turns golden brown.
  • Serve pancake with jam, chocolate spread or ice cream.
