A report by Ghanaweb indicates that the young man, whose name was given as Kwadwo Kyeremeh was seen being led by another man to undertake one of the major customs in Christianity.

In a video captured on the Facebook page of 'Ghana in Africa', the victim was the second to be baptized after a first who was led through the same process by the baptizer.

The pastor, after speaking some words of prayers in thorns immersed him into the river; head backwards, and lifted him up the first time but Kwadwo Kyeremeh could not go through the process and sunk deep down into the water.

All efforts to retrieve Kwadwo Kyeremeh's body proved futile during the process.
