The accident occurred on Wednesday around 2:30 am.
A VIP bus with registration number GT 4531 – 15 according to reports rammed into a damaged articulated truck with registration number GS 3099 – 10 which had been parked on the side of the road at Suhum in the Eastern Region.
The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Suhum Government Hospital and the 42 injured victims rushed to the same facility for treatment.
