The first deputy speaker of parliament, Joseph Osei Owusu, has been rushed to the hospital after complaining of being unwell.

The deputy speaker was delivering a speech on the implementation of the Right to Information Bill when he complained of feeling unwell Tuesday.

He was escorted out of the premises and rushed to the hospital.
