The family of the murdered Assemblies of God senior pastor at Community 4, Rev. Dr. David Nabegmado, has defended him as a "genuine" man of God.

Speaking to the media on Monday, the spokesperson of the Nabedmado family, Dan Makandan disputed the allegation that he is an idol worshiper.

“We charge the media to disregard alleged statements made by Francis Nabedmado. Rev. Nabedmado is a genuine man of God who is humble and down to earth.
"He was an asset not just to the family, but the church and Ghana as a whole.”
Mr. Makanda stressed, “The family affirms that Rev. Nabedmado is not an idol worshiper, but a true and genuine man of God.”
