19 suspects remanded in prison custody
The case has been adjourned to August 3, 2017.

This follows a request by the prosecution that their continuous stay in police cells was making it difficult to have access to them.
The prosecutor, George Amega told the court that the 19 had been placed in different police stations in Accra.

He further indicated that the duplicate docket of the case has been sent to the Attorney General’s department for advice.
The case has since been adjourned to August 3, 2017.
The 19 have been facing charges of murder and abetment of murder after their arrest for the killing of the military officer.
Maxwell Adam Mahama was lynched on Monday, May 29, 2017 by residents of Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion that he was an armed robber.
