Some residents narrated that Kofi Amankwa butchered the mother with a machete on her way to the farm because of his dissatisfaction with the deceased’s stance regarding his love affairs.
Amankwah is alleged to have said the mother had always been opposed to any lady he intended to marry, leaving him unmarried for several years.
The dastardly act was appalling to residents of the area, one of whom said “unfortunately, at the time of the incident, no one was there to save the woman,” the devastated resident mourned.
