Koala robbery victim's "surgery was successful"

The victim of the robbery at the Cantonment branch of Koala, Lydia Horsu is responding to treatment according to authorities at the 37 Military hospital where she is on admittion.

"She had a successful surgery yesterday and she is responding to treatment." A source at the 37 Military Hospital told Pulse.com.gh

Lydia Horsu an administrative assistant  at Koala was  attacked by two armed robbers who took from her an undisclosed amount of money.

The brave act of a taxi driver led to the arrest of the robbers and the subsequent apprehension of their accomplices.

Taxi driver  who is being hailed as a hero rammed into the robbers who were escaping on a motorbike pushing them into a near by gutter.

The police have arrested three more people including a Togolese who was among artisans working on an expansion at the site.

According to the the Director of Public relations at the Ghana armed forces Colonel Aggrey Quashie told Pulse.com.gh said the identity of the victim at this point is being protected until further notice as she could be a target for criminals.
