Achimota Golf Club hosts first MTN Invitational July 6

The beautiful greens of the Achimota Golf course will be the venue when the second edition of this year's MTN Invitational golf tournament tees off next week Friday, July 6 at 11am.

Quite unbelievably, this will be the first time the revered Achimota Golf Club will be hosting the MTN invitational golf competiton since its inception 9 years ago, for which reason the organisers have vowed to make everything about this tournament historic

Also set to be the first tournament under the leadership of newly appointed CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh, over 100 golfers across the country have been invited to participate in this high profile event with a plethora of attractive prizes comprising trophies and MTN devices at stake for the winners.

"The MTN invitational tournaments are targeted at high value subscribers, for which reason we attach so much importance to it," said a spokesman for the organisers.

"In other to attract top notch players and CEOs to participate, we are hosting a late Friday morning event as such tee off has been scheduled for 11am at a time all participants or players would have been expected to have registered," he explained.
