Andre Ayew donates health items to Tamale to support fight against Coronavirus

Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew has donated health items to the people of Tamale in the Northern Region to help the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

Andre Ayew has joined other Black Stars players namely Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Owusu, etc who have donated items to communities in Ghana as a measure to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

It is understood Andre Ayew donated about 4,000 sanitizers, washing stands, soaps and tissues were provided at various bus stations, Chiefs palaces, market places and some sports centres in Tamale. These items were also donated to individuals in the central market to help reduce the widespread of the coronavirus.

Ghana’s Coronavirus cases have now increased to 161, with five people having already died from the outbreak.

11 cases have been recorded in the Northern regional capital Tamale which makes, Northern region the third place with the highest number of Covid-19 cases.

As a result of this Andre Ayew’s donation has come at the right time and it will be a great service to the people in the region.

Andre Ayew currently plies his trade with Swansea City in the English Championship.
