Ghanaian player David Accam is looking to join international teammates Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Abdul Baba Rahman and Jeffrey Schlupp in the Premier League

Ghana international and Chicago Fire striker David Accam wants to join international teammates Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Abdul Baba Rahman and Jeffrey Schlupp in the English Premier League.

The former Helsingborgs player sparked rumours with a possible transfer move to Stoke City after the Ghanaian started training with Mark Hughes' side at the end of the Major League Soccer season.

A rumoured possible £3.2 million transfer was denied by Chicago Fire officials according to MLSsoccer.com.

David Accam however in an interview with Starr FM in Ghana said of his desire to join England’s top flight. The Black Stars player said of his training with Stoke City and English Premier League dream to Starr FM:

“Our season was over and wanted to train with a team and was invited by the team.

“I was invited by the club since they were interested and coach Mark Hughes was impressed with my training.

"So let's hope when the transfer window opens my dream is to join the likes of Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, Baba Rahman and the others.”

David Accam scored 10 goals for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire in the 2015 season. The Ghanaian player made 24 appearance for the MLS team with 3 of those coming from the bench.
