The ranking which was released on Thursday sees the Black Stars maintain their position from November.
Kwesi Appiah’s side played two Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying games last month.
They defeated South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe to take a commanding lead in the group.

The Black Stars will, therefore, end the year on 47th position, having started 2019 in 52nd.
Meanwhile, Ghana remains sixth on the African ranking, with Senegal currently the continent’s highest ranked team.
Tunisia is ranked second, while Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco complete the top five in Africa in that order.
